This is the real GIMP, an extremely powerful GNU image editor running on your device. It is fully functional and professionally supported.

In short, it has everything you would expect from a professional photo and image editing and creation program.

How to use this GIMP Android app:

Normal use. But here are some peculiarities of the Android interface.
* Click a number left click.
* Slide one finger to move the mouse.
* Zoom to close.
* Hold and slide one finger to pan (useful when zooming in).
* Swipe up or down with two fingers to scroll.
* When bringing up the keyboard, tap the screen to display a series of icons, then tap the keyboard icon.
* If you want to perform the equivalent of a right-click, tap with two fingers.
* If you’re on a desktop – to change the scaling, find the service’s Android notifications and tap Settings. You must stop and restart the application after changing these settings for it to take effect.
Easier on a tablet and stylus, but also on a phone or with your fingers.

To access files from the rest of Android, your home directory (/home/userland) has many useful links to your documents, images, and more. The files do not need to be imported or exported.

If you don’t want or can’t pay for this application, you can run GIMP from the UserLAnd application.

This application was not made by the main development team of GIMP. Instead, it’s an adaptation that allows the Linux version to run on Android.
