MetaCampus: The enigma of Rionero is a visual novel featuring puzzle games, created through a collaboration with students from Campus G. Fortunato in Rionero in Vulture (PZ). It starts off as an ordinary day for three students of the G. Fortunato Institute: Matteo, Eva, and Giada. They follow their usual routine of waking up to the alarm, having breakfast, and heading to school. However, upon arriving on campus, they are surprised to find it deserted. Their classmates, teachers, and all other school staff are nowhere to be seen. A mysterious voice assigns them the task of locating three hidden treasures in the Vulture area to restore normalcy to the school and unravel the mystery of Rionero. Each of them embarks on a separate path: Matteo sets out for Palazzo Giustino Fortunato, Eva begins her quest for the treasure on the Campus grounds, and Giada heads to the lakes of Monticchio. This initiative is part of the National Cinema and Images Plan for Schools, promoted by MIC and MIM, under NOTICE D.D. 861 11/03/2022 titled “The cinematographic and audiovisual language as an object and tool of education and training” – Action C Visioni Fuori Luogo.
